Omaha Trip

Back in October we met up with my parents and our friends Mark and Kelly and family in Omaha for a long weekend. My Mom and Dad were on their way to Arizona but stayed a few
nights with us.

We went to The Henry Doorly Zoo which is a fantastic zoo in Omaha.

That same weekend we went to The Husker/Texas Longhorns game
Kelly's Mom, Mary Pat watched all the girls while Mark, Kelly, Mike and I went to
Lincoln. What a blast it was until Mike got lost on 14th & O. Poor Mike.

Happy New Year!

Our friends Mark and Kelly and their family came up from Kansas to celebrate New Year's. Jason and Anne were kind enough to get 12 tickets to the Vikings game. So we packed up 6 kids and 6 adults and headed downtown.. We rode the light rail to the game.

The girls were so excited to get their picture with the Vikings Cheerleaders

We hung out and the Connelly's after the game and into 2007. Great time had by all.
Thanks Anne & Jason.

I'm a Hockey Mom!

Nikki decided she wanted to try hockey this year. She had never really skated much but is doing really good after a few months of skating 2-3 times a week. She is on an all girls team. They had their first game Sunday against LDC which is Litchfield Dassel and Cokato.
They won 14 to 3. The girls were so excited to win as they have been playing scrimmage games against boys thus far.

The 3-day

Ok. So I'm a little behind but I wanted to share some pictures from the closing ceremonies of the 3-day. This was an amazing experience with some amazing women.

At the finish line. Our families met us with flowers, hugs and a much needed diet coke.

It felt good to sit down in a real chair. Mike rewarded me with a massage gift certificate which I used the very next day..

The Breast Cancer 3-day was the hardest and one of the best things I have ever done.
Thank you to everyone who supported me and team 'Fight Like a Girl'.
